pchprs Holiday Pink Pears - This exotic, quick-fix, holiday dessert recipe is irresistable, and looks fabulous on any brunch table, especially, Christmas, Easter, or Thanksgiving. The cranberry in the juice gives them a pretty pink color and an abundance of fruity flavor. A quick, easy microwave recipe that is divine!Prep Time: 5 mins
Cook Time: 6-8 mins
Servings: 4
Main Ingredient: Pears
Difficulty Level: 1

Ingredients to make Holiday Pink Pears

4 Pears, preferably Bosc
2 t Fresh lemon juice
1 c Cranapple juice

Directions to make Holiday Pink Pears

Step 1:Halve, peel, and core the pears. Sprinkle freshly cut pears with lemon juice to prevent browning. Place in microwave-safe dish and cover with cranapple juice.
Step 2:Cover and cook on high 6 - 8 minutes or until pears are fork tender. (Check the pears after 6 minutes; the fresher the pears, the longer they’ll take to cook.) Spoon juice over pears, cover, and let stand 30 minutes or refrigerate overnight.
